I am a semi-retired, House for Duty vicar in the Schorne Team, with special responsibility for Quainton. I was ordained in Blackburn Cathedral in 1965 and after 16 years in north-west parishes I accepted the post of whole-time Hospital Chaplain in Warrington. I retired after 20 very happy years there and then worked as Chaplain in the town's Hospice for 5 years before moving south to Quainton. It is a beautiful village and a very warm and caring community; Wendy and I are very happy here and glad to be much nearer our two grown up children and our three grandchildren.
