Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer
Last year the Schorne Team website appeal raised £1000 for WaterAid - an excellent result which will now be making a difference to thousands of lives in Africa.
This year David Meakin asks us to look closer to home. His brother has been diagnosed with cancer with all of the fears and concerns which that brings. The great majority of us will know one or more people who have battled this cruel disease - whether successfully or unsuccessfully.
Macmillan Cancer Support are a tremendous organisation which offers support, medical and emotional, both to the patients and to their families and supporters. That work needs our help to continue. So please do try to give generously - perhaps in memory of a loved one or friend who lost the battle - or perhaps to support somebody who currently has cancer - or just because it is an excellent cause.
