I am a House-for-Duty minister in the Schorne Team, looking after Waddesdon, Westcott and Upper Winchendon. The delightful, isolated church at Fleet Marston, which is cared for by The Churches Conservation Trust, is also in Waddesdon Parish. Having lived in Aylesbury for 25 years, moving to Waddesdon in 2003 meant a big change, but I enjoy the huge variety of opportunities presented by rural parish ministry, including going into the three local schools. As there are popular wedding reception venues in or near the Parish, our churches are in demand and I find it a joy to prepare couples for marriage.
I am married to Brian, and we have two grown up daughters, Ruth and Hannah. Much time is spent trying to keep the large Rectory garden under control, but we enjoy the beauty of it as the seasons change, and the abundant wildlife which visits it.
